I am a 4th year PhD candidate in mathematics at Wesleyan University working with Emily Stark. My research is in geometric group theory. I’m particularly interested in algorithmic properties of groups which can be approached geometrically or combinatorially, such as Dehn functions. Lately, I've been been thinking a lot about Artin groups.

Before joining Wesleyan, I worked as a data analyst. I obtained a M.S. from Temple University working with Ed Letzter, and a B.S. from Appalachian State Unversity, both in mathematics.
